A child steps out of his/her mother’s lap, enters a school, and after 14 years leaves the threshold of the school as a young adult. The school plays an important part as a child paves his/her way towards adulthood. A school is the place where a child develops his/her dreams, imbibes elements from the environment to shape his/her personality, socializes, and learns to conform to the expected behavior and ways of the world.
And here lies the importance of education. Education, in one word, is man-making. It not only unfolds the latent qualities of an individual or helps to embrace knowledge but makes continuous endeavors to form character and increases the strength of mind in order to bring oneself from darkness into the light of being human.
Having been an educator for several years, I keenly support the pivotal and proactive role an educational organization plays in today's society. I feel honoured to be in charge of a seat of learning that can mould the most significant resource of any nation- young and impressionable human minds.
